Cookies policy

This page contains information on the cookies generally used on the website of LESENSKY.CZ s.r.o., their purpose and your options when it comes to cookies stored in your device and what you can do about it.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files which are sometimes necessary to ensure proper functionalities of websites, such as login (signing in). Thanks to the use of cookies our website can “remember” a variety of settings that you have made in order to view or use the website. That is the reason why our website saves cookies on your computer. It is a standard procedure used by all websites in the world to save information of key importance for their operation.

Our use of cookies

Cookies can be categorised according to their validity and based on who saves them on your computer and why.

As for the validity, there are two categories:

  • Session cookies remain in your computer as long as the browser is in use, and they are automatically deleted once the browser has been closed.

  • Persistent cookies remain in your computer for an extended period of time (based on your computer settings and the settings of the cookie as such) or until removed manually. Scroll down for instructions on the manual removal of cookies.

As for the parties involved in the processing of cookies (i.e. creating and using the information stored in these cookies), there are once again two categories:

  • first party cookies – created by the website or scripts on that domain. These are typically used to ensure the basic functionalities of the given website. Without these cookies most websites would not be able to provide basic functionalities and various user settings.

  • Third party cookies are typically the cookies of advertising systems, social media widgets, various analytical tools or embedded videos.

Cookies used on this website

  • Technical (first-party, short-term), which are necessary for the basic functionalities of websites.

  • Google Analytics (third-party, long-term) we use them to personalise your experience with the website. In Google Analytics, we only use analytical functions which do not constitute data necessary for user profiling (age, sex, interests, IP address etc.).

  • Cookies of Google advertising systems (AdWords, DoubleClick), Facebook and YouTube (third-party, long-term). These cookies are used for marketing profiling. We use them to stay in contact with you via personalised advertising on social media.

  • Analytical – Smartlook tool (third-party, long-term). Thanks to them we can improve our website and its user-friendliness and functionalities.

  • Technical cookies of the CookieBot bar (third-party, long-term), thanks to which our website remembers your settings regarding the non-technical cookies we can process.

Cookies are never used to identify you as a person, nor do we place any sensitive or personal data into them.

How you can adjust the cookies settings on your device

All the cookies stored on your device can be deleted at any time. Most web browsers also offer individual settings which block cookies on your device. However, with these settings you will not be able to use all the services generally offered by a website, e.g. online shopping sites. Detailed information on cookie use settings in your browser can be found on the website of the browsers listed below.

Detailed information on the use of cookies can also be found at AboutCookies.org

Another option regarding the cookies settings with respect to our website is the “cookies bar” (CookieBot) that appeared when opening this website. You can select which cookies can be stored and which cookies will be blocked. It also contains detailed information on individual types of cookies. This allows you to make a fully informed decision.
